Beach Patrol Australia and Love Our Street is an environmental organisation that operates volunteer community groups in most suburbs that border Port Phillip Bay that remove plastic litter from the foreshore, beaches and streets to prevent it harming the marine environment and to heighten awareness of plastic pollution, collect data and lobby for change.

FoodFilled Inc.

FoodFilled is an innovative youth-led, volunteer centric food rescue charity, established to combat the intersecting crises of food waste and food insecurity.

Repurpose It

Apples, pears, bananas, oranges, grass, leaves and coffee grounds. What do they all have in common? They can all go in your FOGO bin!

Come and visit Repurpose It as we explore the ins and outs, the do’s and don’ts and the can’s and can not’s of your FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) recycling bin. Learn how to make seedling starter boxes from recycled materials, get hands on with worms and learn about how Repurpose It treats food and garden scraps and turns them into wonderful, nutrient rich soils and composts.

We are a small start up called Planet Zero Waste, consulting with homes and businesses in reducing waste. This stall will aim to provide services and education on how individuals can reduce their waste consumption on a practical level and increase their lifestyle savings.

Roving Refills

Roving Refills are a mobile refill shop for eco-friendly cleaning products and plastic-free cleaning accessories. We encourage consumers to reuse their bottles, containers and jars to purchase environmentally friendly products for household cleaning, laundry, dishwashing and more. By reusing and refilling there is less waste to landfill and containers are kept in a circular economy.

At Zero Plastics Australia we specialise in turning single use plastic waste into brand new practical products, from Hair claws, Wireless phone chargers, refillable pens and over 200 other designs our dream is to show the world that waste is only waste if you waste it.

Sea Shepherd

Sea Shepherd is a non-profit organisation that uses direct methods to defend and safeguard the biodiversity of our delicately balanced marine ecosystems. On top of this, we enlist the help of our on-shore volunteers to perform regular beach clean-ups across Australia. By donating or purchasing one of our sustainably made products, you can help oceans and the species that inhabit them.

Friends of the Earth Melbourne

Friends of the Earth Food Co-op and Cafe is a not-for-profit social enterprise and an active community space, supporting the environmental campaigns at Friends of the Earth, Melbourne. We are building a Sustainable Future, enabling Local Community Empowerment, transformed by Volunteer-Powered Impact, and committed to Accessible Organic Food and Advocacy for Environmental Justice.

Moira from duck’s back – move.grow.cook has been sharing the ‘zero waste’ message as a Thermomix Consultant for over 12 years.

SisterWorks

SisterWorks is a social enterprise that supports women from migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking backgrounds to gain economic independence through skills training and employment. At our stall, we’ll showcase our CircularWorks range—sustainable, handcrafted products made from upcycled materials, including coffee sacks, fabric offcuts, and repurposed packaging. Every item tells a story of resilience, creativity, and environmental impact.

Journeys for Climate Justice

Journeys for Climate Justice (JCJ) is a volunteer-run not-for-profit addressing the unequal impacts of climate change on vulnerable Asia–Pacific communities. We support youth-focused initiatives that nurture the next generation of environmental leaders. Our stall features vibrant shopping bags made from recycled saris — reducing waste, replacing single-use plastics, and supporting fair employment for women in Sri Lanka — with 100% of profits funding our projects.

Patch, Wear, Repeat: No-Sew Clothing Repairs Made Easy Bring your worn, torn, or stained clothing and gear to our stall, where we’ll repair them for free in minutes using our innovative FabPatch rub-on textile repair patch—no payment or sewing required!

Gardening on Country

Gardening on Country manufacture garden tools made from 100% recycled plastic. We take post-consumer bottle caps and turn them into a useful product. Our inspiration came from the urge to protect Country for future generations and to help remove hard to recycle waste from the environment. We are an Aboriginal owned business located in Gunaikurnai Country.

Pat and Jeans Place

The stall will be one of the launches of our recycled textiles party decorations and different party games. Premium rental package includes rental of buffet table with poles, party decorations, family games and complete zero waste with wooden platters, and plates, cups and wash hand station with hand flannels.

War On Waste Cartel

Affectionately known as the WOW Cartel, the War on Waste Cartel is an Australian made brand that creates the coolest luxe tote bags, the funkiest and environmentally friendly clutches and the best shopping bags. Versatile and with vegan friendly options, they are loved by all. Made in partnership with coffee roasters, collaborating to care for the environment, industry waste is reduced by repurposing coffee sacks once destined for landfill. When you use WOW products you are part of the solution to reducing rubbish.

Etiko is the pioneer of genuinely ethically made, genuinely eco-friendlier clothing and footwear. A registered social enterprise it helps people and organisations to apply their sustainability and social justice values when it comes to fashion.

APR Plastics Pty Ltd

APR Plastics is giving soft plastics a second life. We recover and recycle soft plastics – like pallet wrap, food packaging and bread bags – through advanced sorting and processing technologies. Visit our stall to learn how we’re turning hard-to-recycle materials into new resources and supporting Australia’s circular economy.

Volunteeri with Darebin Hard Rubbish Heroes

We are a group of volunteers in Melbourne’s North who are working to keep useful items out of the waste stream, and to help educate the community about fast fashion, fast furniture and the sharing economy.

City of Melbourne

The City of Melbourne is proud to be part of a local and international movement recognising that we are in a climate emergency that requires urgent action to reduce emissions and address climate change impacts. At our stall, you can explore two exciting initiatives shaping a more sustainable Melbourne: the Queen Victoria Market Circular Economy Precinct, where businesses and the community are working together to reduce waste and reuse valuable resources, and our Food Organics High-Rise Pilot, which helps apartment residents recycle food scraps and keep organics out of landfill. As well as meet some of our Youth Action leads who are making a difference in their local neighbourhoods.

Wonki is tackling Australia’s huge food waste issue and supporting local farmers, one delicious drop at a time. The idea was concocted as three Monash Uni students, and now, Wonki purchases misshapen but just-as-delicious seasonal produce destined for the waste heap, turning it into flavour-filled vodka sodas that are good for the planet and parties alike.
