Ali is a multidisciplinary creative in fashion design, fine art, and communications. A practice-based PhD candidate in Fashion and Textiles at RMIT University, her work seeks to counteract the underutilisation of clothing by designing garments for increased wear that respond to wearers’ feedback. She showed pieces at MF/W in 2021 and was shortlisted in the Top 20 We the Makers Sustainable Fashion Prize in 2023.
