Siri Bosa

Siri’s design was made almost entirely from rescued materials collected from the Ballina Salvage Shed, including fencing wire, packing tape, an old lampshade, yoga mat, lace curtains, CDs, electrical wire, fishing line and insulation. The lampshade becomes a striking headpiece, symbolising new perspectives and inspiration from unexpected places. This piece celebrates imperfection, keeping the marks, textures and signs of previous use as part of the garment’s story. It’s also a celebration of circular design, collaboration and creative problem-solving, asking, “What else could this become?”
