Rochelle started with a secondhand sleeping bag from an op shop – complete with a broken zip –- and unpicked it to rebuild it as a jacket. Almost everything has been salvaged, including the outer fabric, lining, insulation, cords and even the drawcords. It is a brilliant example of looking at an object with a very fixed purpose and imagining an entirely different life for it.
