Primrose Holland

Primrose has created a gown almost entirely from things that were broken, discarded or overlooked. Mirror fragments from hard rubbish were polished into a mosaic, a stained secondhand wedding dress was deconstructed, recut and dyed, and scrap remnants became the bodice. Even the straps and lacing have previous lives – from a retired necklace, old party ribbon and worn-out boot laces.
