Mercedes Czehmester

Mercedes takes inspiration from the motifs of fashion house Oscar de la Renta while challenging herself with a new crochet style. Donated sweaters from thrift stores were unravelled so the yarn could be used again, then entirely handmade into a lace-like, chic evening look. It is a beautiful reminder that an old knit can become raw material rather than waste.
