Leah Fitzgerald-Quinn

Leah gives us a post-apocalyptic reimagining of an armour suit. Damaged and discarded vinyl records were moulded using a custom-made jig, while the chainmail-inspired cape, headpiece and gloves use more than 3,000 discarded soft-drink can tabs. Around 200 metres of discarded macramé cord is woven through the work, turning hard-to-reuse waste into something theatrical and protective.
