Jessica’s look responds to algal bloom and its often invisible environmental impact, using a sombre romantic silhouette with a soft, flowing, almost wilted feeling. Green and red tones were dyed naturally to evoke algae across reclaimed cream bridal tulle. The result turns a traditionally celebratory material into something more fragile and uneasy, asking us to look more closely at what is happening in our environment.
