Denise Honan

Denise sourced much of this project while travelling, looking at what could be found rather than what could be bought. Fruit-packaging mesh, a plastic shopping bag, eggshells, food dye, red earth, found plastics, earbuds, drinking straws and natural plant dyes all appear in the work. Hand sewing brings these unlikely materials together into a project about rethinking, reworking and refashioning.
