Known as The Food Affectionist, Lillie Giang has dedicated her career to making cooking accessible, affordable, enjoyable and environmentally responsible. Through her television series, cooking demonstrations, festivals, libraries, schools and community events, she inspires people to cook confidently, embrace diverse cultures, reduce food waste and make healthier choices for themselves and the planet. This includes embracing the latest cooking technologies to make everyday cooking faster, safer, more energy efficient and better for indoor air quality.
Beyond the kitchen, Lillie is the Founder and President of Feed One Feed All, a volunteer-led charity that has prepared and distributed thousands of nutritious meals to people experiencing hardship across Victoria and earned her numerous community and leadership awards, including as a Westfield Local Hero and a Paul Harris Fellow.
