Dr Alicja Kuzmycz is a sustainable fashion researcher and design lecturer at Torrens University Australia. Her research explores how clothing can be designed to incorporate wearing feedback to increase use and encourage sustainable wearing behaviours. Recently, she created the Wardrobe Maths calculator. It’s a helpful tool that empowers individuals to better understand their wardrobe’s impact. It shows the minimum number of wears needed to offset the average carbon footprint of garments and estimates how long it will take to reach that goal, based on how often it’s worn.
