Lily has reconstructed two secondhand garments – her father’s suit jacket and a pre-loved women’s quilted dressing gown – into a two-piece suit. The cropped jacket, layered collar and wrap skirt with ruffle details explore the relationship between comfort, structure and contemporary womenswear. New pattern pieces were created by draping directly from the existing silhouettes.
